The centerpiece of the system is an opto-electronic sensor. By combining a sensor unit with a warning unit, the basic configuration is deliberately limited to a few components to ensure high reliability, longevity, and easy installation.
Depending on the application, another sensor or signal unit can be connected to secure a second room or a second entrance. In addition, fans and extraction devices can be controlled directly via a switching unit.
CO₂ Control Basic Package
- Consisting of: Warning unit, sensor unit, and distributor
- Description: for monitoring one or max. two rooms via a central unit/warning unit. Expandable with additional components such as signal unit, switching unit, or second sensor unit
- Areas of application: mainly in the dispensing system sector, securing cold rooms, CO₂ cylinder rooms, tea kitchens with table water systems, simple industrial applications.
CO₂ Control PA
- Consisting of: extended warning unit with potential-free outputs in the low-voltage range. Forwarding of operating and alarm states to higher-level controllers.
- Description: as with the basic package, but linked to controllers (e.g. WURM).
- Areas of application: CO₂ refrigerant sector, packaging industry, CO₂ fire extinguishing systems, hotel and system catering, breweries/wineries
CO₂ Control AM / AM PLUS
- Consisting of: extended warning unit with potential-free outputs 230V/50 Hz, especially for requirements from the CO₂ refrigeration sector. Connection and acknowledgement of further alarm units, one-man initialization, common line for supply and control, additional visual and acoustic warning.
- Description: as with the CO₂ Control PA, but outputs with 230V/50 Hz. AM PLUS version with additional loud horn and large strobe light for more attention.
- Areas of application: Refrigeration systems in discounters, food retail, food processing, industrial refrigeration systems
CO₂ Control Accessories
- Switching unit: for controlling fans, external alarm devices and actors of all kinds that are to be controlled by the CO₂ Control variant.
- Signal unit: visual/acoustic protection
- Protective bracket: for sensors, protection against mechanical damage, available with 30mm and 80mm width
- Alarm unit: external visual/acoustic alarm device, acoustics can be acknowledged, version 230V/50Hz
- Illuminated warning panel: LED, 600 x 180mm, 24V or 230V/50Hz version
