Cookies
General
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us or our partner companies to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).
We use Google Fonts for the efficient use of fonts on our website. This involves transmitting data to Google (e.g. IP address and browser).
We use cookies to analyze access to our website and to be able to rectify errors and faults promptly.
We use “Borlabs Cookie” from Silktide (Borlabs GmbH, Hamburger Str. 11, 22083 Hamburg, Germany) for cookie management. This is a plugin that can be used to obtain consent for the use of cookies and/or tracking technologies. “Borlabs Cookie” itself does not collect any personal data.
Consent
You can revoke your consent to the use of cookies, which are not absolutely necessary for the operation of the website, at any time with effect for the future. We currently do not use any other cookies that are not technically necessary.
Control after Consent
You can also control and/or delete cookies as you wish, provided you have consented to their use. You can delete all cookies stored on your computer and set most browsers to prevent the storage of cookies. However, you may then need to manually adjust some settings each time you visit a page and accept the impairment of some functions.
Legal Basis
We use cookies on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR as the legal basis. As described under points a-c, we have legitimate interests in the use of cookies and the use of cookies is necessary to achieve these interests (e.g. legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to correct errors and malfunctions). We have examined whether overriding interests of visitors to our website conflict with the use of cookies, but have come to the overall conclusion that this is not the case.
Deletion
The deletion of stored personal data occurs when you assert your right as a data subject to deletion, when its knowledge is no longer necessary for fulfilling the purpose for which it was stored, or when its storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons, unless legal retention requirements prevent deletion, in which case the processing of the data is restricted instead of deleted.
Your Rights
Every data subject has the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, the right to notification under Art. 19 GDPR and the right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR.
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR if you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully. The right of appeal exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
If the processing of data is based on your consent, you are entitled to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time in accordance with Art. 7 GDPR. Please note that the revocation is only effective for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected by this. Please also note that we may have to retain certain data for a certain period of time in order to comply with legal requirements.
Right of objection
Insofar as the processing of your personal data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to safeguard legitimate interests, you have the right under Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of this data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process this personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing. These must outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing must serve the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. You are welcome to contact us to protect your rights.
Please direct all requests for information, inquiries for disclosure, requests for deletion, etc., or objections to data processing to the contact details of our data protection officer provided below.
If you are not satisfied with our data processing, you also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
The competent supervisory authority for data protection for us is
The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg
Postfach 10 29 32
70025 Stuttgart
However, we would appreciate if you could speak to us first so that we can clarify any uncertainties or concerns together.

Transfer of Data to Third Parties or to a Third Country
